India thrashed West Indies by seven wickets in the 2nd Test at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi to clinch the two-match series 2-0 and secure their tenth consecutive Test series victory against the visitors. KL Rahul scored an unbeaten 58 in the second innings to help India chase down the target of 121 runs comfortably on Day 5 to bag their second win in a row and clean sweep the series.

After hammering West Indies by an innings and 140 runs in the first Test in Ahmedabad, India appeared to be cruising towards another innings victory in the 2nd Test in Delhi. However, a fightback from West Indies batters in their second innings forced India to bat again in their second innings as the game ended on the final day.

India equal record for most consecutive Test series wins against an opposition

India equalled South Africa's record for the most consecutive Test series victories against an opposition with their 2-0 clean sweep against West Indies.
