After his dismissal, Padikkal batted brilliantly with Karun Nair, stitching a dominant 223-run partnership for the second wicket. The duo dismantled Kerala's bowling attack and ensured that the required rate never went out of reach.
Padikkal was eventually removed by MD Nidheesh in the 41st over after a sensational innings of 124 runs off 137 balls, including 12 boundaries and three maximums. This was Padikkal's 11th List A ton, which further strengthened his exceptional record in domestic 50-over cricket.
