Igor Thiago bagged a late double to help Brentford hammer 10-man Newcastle United 3-1 in the Premier League on Sunday. With the defeat, Newcastle's poor run on the road continued this season as they are yet to win an away game in the Premier League since April this year.

Aston Villa thrashed Bournemouth 4-0 with the help of goals from Emi Buendia, Amadou Onana, Ross Barkley and Donyell Malen. Sean Dyche's Nottingham Forest secured a thumping 3-1 victory against Leeds United after playing a spirited 2-2 draw against Manchester United last week. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace played a goalless draw with Brighton.
