New Delhi: Google has made a significant update to Gemini Live so that the communication with this AI model can be more natural, expressive, and human. The update is aimed at improving the tone, rhythm, and speech pattern interpretation by Gemini and the development of smoother and more adaptive real-time interactions. The functionality has been extended to both Android and iOS and provides users with additional options on how they interact with the AI, be it in terms of learning, language practice, or entertainment.
The new update is meant to ensure that communicating with Gemini is as effortless as interacting with another individual. Google claims that the enhancements make the AI not only learn what the users say but also how they say it, in understanding the nuances and intent of a voice inflection and pacing. The transformations open new possibilities for personal learning, immersion in the story, and the practical experience of skills development.
Gemini Live now conforms to personal styles of learning. As an example, the students can request the AI to describe the complicated subjects and change the speed of reading at the same time – by saying, ‘Okay, speed up.’ This assists the learners to tailor the learning speed and enhance accessibility and understanding.
The update is also more interactive in language acquisition since it provides an interactive voice practice. It is possible to invite Gemini to test them in Korean or practise small talk in Spanish, and this provides users with a safe and more engaging learning experience to develop fluency and use it in practice in the real world.
