New Delhi: Hinge founder Justin McLeod is leaving as CEO to create Overtone, an AI-assisted voice-powered dating app. Since McLeod has over ten years of experience as the leader of Hinge, he believes it is time to work on his second idea. He will also remain an advisor to Hinge until March, when the company changes to new management by Jackie Jantos, the current president and chief marketing officer of the app.
The parent company of Hinge, Match Group, has supported the step taken by McLeod and intends to be the first funding round of Overtone in early 2026.
