New Delhi: Elon Musk has more recently spoken about the invention that he feels has made life quality poor, as he spoke to Katie Miller in an interview. The Tesla CEO was talking about various topics, including AI, aliens and much more, in an interview that was released on December 9th.

In the conversation, Musk was asked what he thought was the worst invention and something that has made it worse than before. To this, the billionaire felt it was the short-form video that is rotting the human brain.

Short-form video first got attention through the social media platform, TikTok, which came in 2016 and allowed users to have videos ranging from 3 seconds to a minute. This has flooded into other social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram and YouTube and all of these push for the short-form of content.

There is a case against it, which is that the human attention span has comparatively reduced now. The quick entertainment provided by these videos obviously often trumps the long format of content. Elon Musk owns Twitter, which is one of the few platforms where the algorithm doesn't favour any particular type of content.
