Saiyaara trailer out: Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda romantic drama comes with a twist

New Delhi: The much-awaited trailer Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda was dropped on Tuesday (July 8). Helmed by Mohit Suri and presented by Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara,  is a romantic drama that marks the debut of Chunky Panday’s nephew, Ahaan Panday.

The trailer opens with Ahaan Panday, who essays the role of Krish Kapoor, an aspiring singer and Aneet essays the role of a songwriter who pens lyrics for Ahaan’s character. The two meet and fall in love, but their relationship take a drastic turn when Aneet’s character threatens Krish with a knife and asks him to leave the musical event. A change in her attitude leaves Krish heartbroken. After the incident, Krish father tells him, "Apne pyaar ke liye na khud ko khatam mat kar lena (Don't end your life for your love)."

Directed by Mohit Suri, the movie will be released in theatres on July 19, 2025. According to YRF, Ahaan was groomed for six years and was trained under Aditya Chopra.

Speaking about the movie, Mohit Suri said in a statement, "I wouldn’t have made Saiyaara if I hadn’t found formidable actors like Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. I was honestly thinking about making something else before my path crossed with Yash Raj Films that was looking for a young love story and was grooming Ahaan and Aneet to star in such a film.”
