New Delhi: US President Donald Trump has once again claimed that he is capable of solving wars between countries. He claimed that he can "easily" resolve the ongoing war between Pakistan and Afghanistan. He has already claimed that he helped resolve 8 conflicts across the world so far.

The US President claimed that resolving the Afghanistan-Pakistan conflict would be his 9th success and called it an "easy task".

'Love solving wars': US President Donald Trump

Speaking at the White House Trump said that he loves solving wars. He was quoted as saying by news agency ANI, "Although I do understand that Pakistan attacked, or there is an attack going on with Afghanistan. That's an easy one for me to solve if I have to solve it. In the meantime, I have to run the USA, but I love solving wars."

The US leader has claimed several times that he helped solve the India-Pakistan conflict, despite repeated denials by India. India has maintained its stand that no third party was involved in the negotiation process, post Operation Sindoor, between India and Pakistan. India had launched Operation Sindoor against Pakistan after terrorists from that country killed 26 people in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam.

Trump had been repeatedly demanding that he be given the Nobel Peace Prize of 2025 for "solving 8 wars". However he missed out on the honour to Venezuela's María Corina Machado. He appeared upset about not getting the prize.

Talking about missing out on the Nobel he said, "I solved eight wars. Go to Rwanda and the Congo, talk about India and Pakistan. Look at all of the wars that we solved, and every time I solved, when they say If you solve the next one, you're gonna get the Nobel Prize. I didn't get a Nobel Prize. Somebody got it who is a very nice woman. I don't know who she is, but she was very generous. I don't care about all that stuff. I just care about saving lives. But this will be number nine... So, to the best of my knowledge, we've never had a president who solved one war."

Trump recalled that former President Bush started a war, but he (Trump) saved tens and millions of lives. He said that had India and Pakistan continued the war, that would have been a bad conflict. He claimed that even the Pakistan PM had acknowledged that he helped save lives. Trump said that he loved to stop killing of people in wars.
