Israeli violations of ceasefire continue in Gaza

Intermittent Israeli gunfire and artillery shelling, was reported in Khan Younis, Gaza City, Jabalia camp in the north and south.

Israeli violations of ceasefire have continued on Friday in North and South Gaza, two days after Israeli bombings  claimed 102 Palestinian lives and wounded over 200 people.

Intermittent Israeli gunfire and artillery shelling was reported in Khan Younis, South Gaza along with demolitions of homes in the area.

Air raids and shelling were also reported from various neighbourhoods of Gaza City in the north. One man was killed in Shujayea neighbourhood of Gaza City and his brother was injured, Al Jazeera reported.

Israeli violations have also continued in Southern Lebanon, where a ceasefire was reached in November 2024.

Israel prevents entry of aid at scale:

Israel continues to blockade key crossings, preventing the entry of essentials at the scale needed to stave off the suffering of the Palestinian people.

UN reports suggest that access for aid agencies have improved since the ceasefire but significant obstacles remain. UN and partner groups report that only 5 percent of their shipments are being blocked, down sharply from 80 percent between May 19 and October 9, 2025.

Israel returns more bodies of Palestinians:

On Friday, Israel returned 30 more bodies of Palestinian prisoners as a part of prisoner-captive exchange deal agreed on October 10, Nasser Hospital officials said.

Israeli settlers attack Palestinians in West Bank during olive harvest season:

Meanwhile, Palestinian farmers endure the most violent olive harvest season in five years as Israeli settler attacks surged in Occupied West Bank.

At least 126 assaults on farmers were recorded in the first three weeks of October and more than 4,000 olive trees were destroyed in 70 communities. In the past week alone, 17 Palestinians have been injured.
