Five Israeli airstrikes hit Tal al-Hawa neighbourhood, Southwest of Gaza City and about 100 booby-trapped vehicles were detonated among civilian shelters on Friday, September 19, as per reports emerging from the besieged enclave.
As a part of the ground assault, Israeli army is pushing deeper into Gaza City from two directions with infantry, tanks, artillery backed by the air force, with an alleged aim of pressuring the armed group Hamas.

The IDF is forcing tens of thousands of Palestinians onto coastal roads to drive them out of Gaza City in a bid to control and occupy the city.
The incessant bombardment on overcrowded neighbourhood is causing panic, fear and is pushing people to run for their lives, Al Jazeera reported.
As of Tuesday, at least 750,000 Palestinians still remained in Gaza City, as per Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics. Those numbers could dwindle as the attacks continue and lifelines collapse, the bureau said.
The UN Humanitarian Office (OCHA) on Thursday accused Israel of blocking efforts to get aid to people and cited the closure of Zikim crossing to North Gaza.
Attacks have continued outside of Gaza City, causing severe injuries and casualties.
On Thursday, the US vetoed a resolution at the UN Security Council, calling for a ceasefire and to lift all restrictions on aid into Gaza and the return of all hostages.
