New Delhi: The 2020 Bihar Assembly elections were held in three phases for a total of 243 seats. The first for 71 seats on October 28, 2020, the second for 94 seats on November 3, 2020, and the third for the remaining 78 seats on November 7, 2020. The counting of votes began on November 10, and the incumbent National Democratic Alliance emerged as the winner with 125 elected MLAs, an inarguably close contest where the opposition coalition of Mahagathbandhan managed to secure 110 seats.
