Tamil Nadu to gain most from India–UK free trade agreement, says PM Modi

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, and launched development projects worth Rs 4,800 crore. Four dead as trailer hits multiple vehicles on Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Mumbai : A major accident took place on Mumbai-Pune Expressway near Khopoli on Saturday, leading to the death of four people and injuries to more than 15 others. The accident took place when the brakes of a large trailer failed while coming down the Lonavala-Khandala Ghat section towards Mumbai. The trailer lost control and crashed into around 20 vehicles ahead of it, including cars and trucks. The collision was so powerful that three vehicles were completely crushed, while many others were badly damaged. The accident happened between the newly constructed tunnel and the Foodmall Hotel. Due to the crash, a massive traffic jam occurred on the expressway. Westarctica to Poulvia: How UP man ran fake embassy from Ghaziabad for 7 years

Ghaziabad : A man has been arrested in Ghaziabad for running a fake embassy from a rented house. The accused, Harshvardhan Jain, had turned a home in the upscale Kavi Nagar area into what appeared to be a consulate, complete with national flags of different so-called micronations and luxury cars with fake diplomatic number plates. The Uttar Pradesh Police raided the house and were shocked to find Rs 44.7 lakh in Indian currency and foreign money worth around Rs 30 lakh. They also seized four luxury vehicles including an Audi and a Mercedes, along with 20 fake VIP number plates meant for diplomats, 12 forged passports, two PAN cards, 34 foreign stamps, 12 expensive watches, a laptop, and several documents. Baby born mid-air on Air India Express flight from Muscat to Mumbai

Mumbai : In a rare and emotional moment, a baby was born mid-air on an Air India Express flight traveling from Muscat to Mumbai. The incident took place on Thursday and both the mother and the newborn are safe and healthy. The mother, a Thai national, went into labour while the flight was still in the air. As soon as the crew realized what was happening, they took quick action.  With the help of a trained nurse who happened to be a passenger, the cabin crew handled the delivery with great care and calmness. Caught inside woman’s house, Indore cop tied and beaten by locals

Indore : A sub-inspector (SI) posted in Indore was brutally beaten by residents of the Khajrana area on Thursday morning after he was found inside a woman’s house under suspicious circumstances.
