New Delhi: VinFast Auto India, the Indian subsidiary of the global Electric Vehicle brand VinFast, have announced the inauguration of their showroom in Surat, Gujarat. The inauguration marks a huge milestone in the company’s retail journey in India. The outlet is the first physical touchpoint for the brand in India, highlighting the brand’s commitment towards a strong, customer-based electric mobility system.
The dealership of VinFast is located in Piplod, Surat, and will be a one-stop location for the brand’s prospective buyers. At a size of 3,000 Sq-Ft, the facility will offer interesting product experiences, seamless vehicle purchase journeys and amazing after-sales support. The Showroom will be showing VinFast’s forthcoming range of premium electric SUVs, VF 6 and VF 7.
As part of their determined roadmap, the company has plans to launch 35 dealerships by the end of the year in 27 more cities.
VinFast officially opened pre-bookings for their premium EV SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7, on July 15th, 2025, coming with a rapidly expanding dealer network and national EV ecosystem initiatives. Customers can now book from both exclusive showrooms or through their official website, with a refundable booking amount of Rs 21,000.
The vehicles will be assembled locally at the upcoming VinFast factory in Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu, which only strengthens their commitment to India as a strategic market and future hub for EV production.

Their proven automotive expertise, combined with VinFast’s technology and vision, will help shape a premium EV experience for Indian customers.”
To accelerate their growth in India, VinFast have formed strategic partnerships with RoadGrip, myTVS and Global Assure to establish a nationwide network for charging and after-sales services. Further to strengthen their dedication to sustainability, VinFast has also partnered with BatX Energie, who are a leading Indian clean-tech company, in order to promote battery recycling and develop a circular battery value chain as well. It only makes VinFast strong towards their goal of a green future.
