Kolkata: On Tuesday, Dec 23, Sensex closed at 85,524.84, down 42.63 points or 0.050%, while NIFTY 50 closed at 26,177.15, up 4.75 points or 0.018%. Today stocks such as RVNL, Ola Electric, Adani Ports and more could be in focus of investors for variopus developments related to these companies that came to light on Tuesday. IT, pharma and banking sectors witnessed a dip on the NSE on Tuesday.

Vikran Engineering: This company has received a large order worth approximately Rs 2,035.26 crore for a 600 MW solar project in Maharashtra.

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone: The board has approved the issuance of 14.38 crore equity shares on a non-cash basis. These shares will be issued in exchange for the acquisition of Abbot Point Port.

RVNL: Saleem Ahmed has been appointed as the new Chairman and Managing Director of the company effective December 23 after Sukhpal Chand Jain resigned from the post.

Godfrey Phillips India: This company has filed a claim of approximately Rs 344.49 crore with the insurance company for the damage caused by a fire at a third-party tobacco processing plant and warehouse in Andhra Pradesh.

Zydus Lifesciences: The company's UAE-based subsidiary has struck an agreement for strategic partnership with Bioeq, a Swiss biopharmaceutical company. This agreement is for the licensing, supply, and marketing of the VEGF inhibitor drug Nufymco in the US, which won an approval from FDA regulator on December 18.

Endurance Technologies: A cybersecurity incident occurred on the company's IT infrastructure. The company has isolated the affected systems in a timely manner and remedial steps have been taken. According to initial reports, there has been no significant impact on the company's business.

Ola Electric Mobility: The company's subsidiary, Ola Electric Technologies, has approved the issuance of optionally convertible preference shares worth Rs 100 crore to Ola Cell Technologies on a preferential basis.

GAIL India: The company has signed an MOU with the Chhattisgarh government for a greenfield gas-based fertilizer project.

Physicswallah: The company's subsidiary has purchased 1.76 acres of land in Ranchi for approximately Rs 69.5 crore, which will be used for future business expansion.

GPT Infraprojects: This infrastructure company has won a contract worth about Rs 199.2 crore from North Eastern Railway. This work involves the construction of a bridge over the Rapti River between Balrampur and Bahraich.

SJS Enterprises: It has entered into a technology license and supply agreement with BOE Varitronix of Hong Kong. This agreement covers the optical bonding and assembly of automotive display systems in India.

Surana Telecom and Power: The company has received eight Letters of Award totaling Rs 175 crore for a 51.3 MW solar power project in Madhya Pradesh.

Ajanta Pharma: The company has entered into an in-licensing agreement with Biocon for the drug Semaglutide. This drug will be sold in several countries in Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia.

Coal India: The board has given in-principle approval for the listing of South Eastern Coalfields and Mahanadi Coalfields. This process will proceed after regulatory approvals.

Tata Steel: The Competition Commission of India has approved Tata Steel's acquisition of full ownership in Tata BlueScope Steel.

Federal Bank: The Competition Commission has approved Asia II Topco XIII's acquisition of warrants in Federal Bank. After the full exercise, this investor will hold approximately 9.99% stake.

Supreme Petrochem: Operations at the new mABS unit at the Amdoshi plant in Maharashtra have been temporarily suspended due to a technical issue. The other units are fully operational.

Spandana Sphoorty Financial: The company has issued non-convertible debentures worth Rs 415 crore through a private placement.
