New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission has declared the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main 2025 written exam result. Candidates can check the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist result by visiting the official website of the commission, upsc.gov.in.
Candidates who have cleared the written exam have a period of 15 day to fill the educational qualifications from July 29 to August 12. The details can be filled through upsconline.gov.in.
A total of 296 candidates have qualified for the interview round. Among the total 64 candidates have qualified for the geologist group A, 135 for scientist B (hydrogeology) or assistant hydrogeologist, 69 for geophysicist or scientist B (geophysics) or assistant geophysicist and 28 for chemist or scientist B (chemical) or assistant chemist posts.
As per the commission the candidature is provisional subject to their eligibility. Candidates must submit the original certificates to support the claim for educational qualification, age, community, physical disability, Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category and others at the interview round.
Candidates who did not have the prescribed educational qualification while registering for UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main 2025 need to update the details and upload the proof of passing the requisite qualifying exam on the One Time Registration (OTR) module. If anyone fails to do so, he or she will not be allowed to appear in the personality test or interview, and this may even lead to cancellation of candidature.
At this period, candidates who qualified also get an option to update higher qualification, achievements in different fields, correspondence or post address, employment details or service experience, service allocation, service preferences (if qualified for both the categories of posts). The details updated will be final. No request for any change in these fields received will be accepted by the commission.
Candidates who qualified the Prelims exam were eligible to appear for the UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Main 2025 exam. The Main written exam was held on June 21 and June 22. Through this recruitment drive a total of 85 vacancies will be filled.
