Noida: In a horrific incident, a 19-year old girl lost her life, and three boys were injured after their Jaguar car collided with an oil tanker truck in Noida on Tuesday. The injured have been admitted in a hospital and are undergoing treatment. The driver of the truck is on the run and efforts are on to trace him.
The accident took place on the Bhangel Elevated Road. The four individuals were travelling in a jaguar car near Sector 49 police station area when the incident took place. Among the four who were travelling in the car included Ayush Bhati (18), Neel Pawar (18), Kumari Falak Ahmed (19) and Ansh (18). The three injured are the residents of Noida, as well as the deceased. All four used to study in different schools, the police said.
As per the police, they were travelling from Bhangel towards Agahpur on the elevated road. The car driver apparently tried to overtake an unknown container truck near the elevated road, resulting in a collision. All four occupants of the car were injured in the incident. The injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
However, Kumari Falak Ahmed succumbed to her injuries during treatment. The remaining injured are undergoing treatment. The families of the deceased and the injured have been informed of the incident. The Sector 49 police are searching for the the driver of the container truck and are also taking other necessary actions. A case has been filed in the incident.
Recently, a software engineer lost his life after his car fell into a water-filled pit in Noida. He was returning home when the incident took place. Taking strict action over his death, a senior official has been suspended. The probe is going on in the accident.
