Noida: In a shocking incident, the body of an unidentified young woman was found at a dumping yard in Noida. The police, on Saturday, received an information that a body was lying in a garbage heap near Sector 142 police station. After receiving the information, a team of policemen reached the spot and started probing the incident.

Victim likely to be around 20-25 years

During its probe, the police found that the deceased woman might be around 20-25 years of age. The body was kept inside a bag with her legs and hands tied. The same raised suspicion that the woman was killed and then dumped at the site.

Soon after, senior police officials and the forensic team reached the spot to examine the body. The body was then sent for the postmortem. Sharing details, the police said that efforts are on to identify the woman and trace where the body might have been brought from. The police is probing the incident from all possible angles. The police further said that further action will be taken based on findings in post mortem report and forensic findings.

Body was found by young boys

According to the police, the body was found after a few young boys went there to collect garbage. It was then that they saw a black bag at the site. After opening it they found the body, after which the police were informed. The initial probe suggested that the woman was wearing a lower and a t-shirt and her limbs were tied with cloth. However, there was no sign of external injuries during the examination.

Probe on to catch the accused

During the probe, the investigators contacted nearby police stations for any missing person reports that might have been filed in recent times. Further probe is underway in the case to find out the circumstances of the alleged murder and get hold of the accused in the case at the earliest
