Hyderabad Police have issued guidelines to hotels, pubs, bars, farm houses and gated communities that intend to hold New Years eve celebrations on December 31. The organisers are allowed to conduct NY events but they must get permits 15 days prior to the event.

The guidelines include mandatory CCTV, adequate security, no fireworks in public, managing traffic, and preventing obscenity or drug use, with SHE teams ensuring women's safety and strict action for drunk driving.

Key guidelines for event organizers:

Apply to the commissioner of police at least 15 days before the event.

Install CCTV cameras with recording at all entry/exit points.

Provide adequate security guards for traffic management and venue security.

Decency of Apparel, dance, no obscene acts, no nudity in any performance.

Outdoor sound systems, including DJs must stop at 10 pm.

Indoor sound must not exceed 45 decibels and must stop by 1 am.

Organizers are warned not to allow any fire arms at the venue of event.

Ensure passes/tickets/coupons should not be granted in excess to the capacity.

Special parking arrangements should be made.

Orderliness should be maintained inside the venue.

No minors should be permitted in pubs and bars.

No drugs or narcotics and psychotropic substances.

No serving of alcohol beyond permitted hours; arrange cabs/drivers for inebriated guests.

Manage parking and avoid obstructing traffic; flyovers may have diversions.
