CAT 2025 result at 6 PM today; here's how to check at iimcat.ac.in

New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode will declare the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 result today, December 24. The CAT 2025 result link will be active by 6 PM. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the result through the official website, iimcat.ac.in. 

The necessary login credentials which include the CAT ID and password will be required to log in and check the result. To check the CAT 2025 result, candidates first have to visit the official CAT website. Then click on the CAT 2025 result link and log in using the CAT ID and password. Once done, the CAT 2025 scorecard will be displayed on the screen. Check and download the scorecard. Take the printout of it for reference.

Admission to the IIMs after the CAT 2025 result is based on institute-specific criteria. Candidates must first meet the minimum CAT percentile cut-off prescribed by each IIM. The shortlisted applicants are then invited to the next stage of the selection process which includes a Written Ability Test (WAT) and a Personal Interview (PI). The exact process may vary across institutes.

Apart from CAT scores, factors such as academic performance, relevant work experience, diversity considerations and performance in the interview stages are also taken into consideration by the IIMs. Based on these, the IIM calculates a composite score which is used to make final admission offers.

Score normalisation in CAT 2025 is a method used to make the evaluation fair for all candidates. Since the exam is held in multiple slots and each slot may have a slightly different difficulty level and so the raw scores are adjusted through a normalisation process.

This process converts raw marks into scaled scores so that candidates from all exam sessions are evaluated on the same scale. As a result, no candidate gains an unfair advantage or faces a disadvantage because the exam slot was easier or tougher than others.
