GUJCET 2026 registration begins for engineering, pharmacy courses

The GUJCET 2026 exam is scheduled to be held on March 29. The exam will start at 10 AM and will conclude by 4 PM.

New Delhi: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has commenced the registration process for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026, applicable to engineering and pharmacy courses. The GUJCET application form 2026 can be filled through the official website, gseb.org or gujcet.gseb.org.

Students who have studied Class 12 in the science stream have to choose Group A, B, or AB to appear for engineering, pharmacy or both papers.

The GUJCET 2026 exam fee is Rs 350. The facility to fill the GUJCET application form online will only be displayed after the fee payment.

GUJCET 2026 exam date

The GSEB announced the GUJCET exam date 2026 in November and as per the schedule, the exam will be held on March 29. The exam will start at 10 AM and will conclude by 4 PM. The exam conducting authority clarified that the entrance exam will be based on the NCERT Class 12 science stream. As per the marking scheme, for each correct response one mark will be awarded. For the incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Steps to apply for GUJCET 2026

Candidates can follow these four steps to fill the GUJCET application form 2026-

  • Visit the GUJCET official website, gseb.org or gujcet.gseb.org.
  • Click on ‘new registration’ and fill in the details to generate the login credentials.
  • After generating the password, log in using the necessary details.
  • Make payment of the GUJCET application fee.
  • Then, proceed to fill out the application form. Applicants need to enter the name, parents’ name, date of birth, gender, disability (if any), caste, address and personal and academic details.
  • Upload the necessary documents in the specified format.

GUJCET is a state-level exam held annually. Candidates who qualifies the exam are shortlisted for admission to professional degree courses like Bachelor of Engineering and Technology (BTech) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm).
