Mumbai: The Indian box office this week is quite interesting. While some movies are moving up the ladder, others are trying their best to keep up with their momentum. Here's how the films across regions have done at th box office:

Dhurandhar, the Ranveer Singh-led spy thriller, crossed the Rs 150 crore mark after entering the Rs 100 crore club in just three days. On Tuesday, the Aditya Dhar movie earned Rs 26.50 crore, and the film's momentum seems unstoppable. The total box office collection of the film is now around  152.75 crore. As opposed to the early predictions, the film is doing extremely well. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh commented on the film's performance on social media. He wrote, "UNSTOPPABLE - UNSHAKABLE... #Dhurandhar has set the box office on fire, passes the make-or-break Monday test with distinction marks... East, West, North, South - it's #Dhurandhar mania across the board. The film is outstanding at national multiplex chains, while the heartland remained excellent as well on the decisive Monday." The film's sequel is to be released next year. 

Tere Ishk Mein box office report

The film, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon in the lead, is moving steadily in its second week at the box office. Despite the tight competition from Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar, the film minted Rs 2.85 crore on the 2nd Tuesday. In 12 days, the film made Rs 105.25 crore at the box office. The morning occupancy on Tuesday was 13.56 percent, it jumped to 32.34 percent in the afternoon, and the evening shows registered 35.78 percent. As per trade experts, the movie has performed better than other romantic films released recently. The film explores the intense romance between two former lovers and the challenges they face. 

The Malayalam crime thriller is doing very well at the box office. The movie led by Mammootty and Vinayakan has crossed Rs 22 crore domestically on its 6th day and Rs 50 crore worldwide. Despite being a working day in the country, the film registered a 32.14 percent overall occupancy in Malayalam on December 9, 2025. As per Sacnilk, the film collected Rs 5 crore on its opening day. It went on to collect Rs 6 crore on Sunday. The film talks about an investigation held at Kottayikonam. Mammootty's antagonist role in the film has earned the appreciation of fans.
