Mumbai: ILLIT just dropped their first single album  NOT CUTE ANYMORE. The name of the album seems to reflect the transformation of the group's image. The lead single named NOT CUTE ANYMORE, is a pop song infused with reggae. It talks about their desire to be viewed beyond their cuteness.

The lyrics of the song showcase the personalities and likes of the group members.  Minimalist production paired with ILLIT's mindblowing conversational vocal tones has already captivated the attention of fans. The chorus "I'm not cute anymore" is catchy and lingers around till the end of the composition.

The song was produced by Jasper Harris.  Singer-songwriters Sasha Alex Sloan and Youra played a role in composing and writing the track's lyrics.  American producer duo Pebbles&TamTam was the one behind the group's  B-side track "NOT ME".

Band members YUNAH, MINJU, and MOKA contributed to the writing of the track.

The music video of the track featured the group's breakup with cuteness. The members of the group are seen standing behind a pink tombstone with the writing "Cute is dead". The video that blends reality with whimsical fantasies has many witty, entertaining scenes like the chaotic sports-car chase, stone-faced dancing, etc.

Another notable aspect of the video is the styling of the group members. From kitschy, chic to cool, they are seen trying to redefine themselves. Ironically, despite their attempt to overwrite the cute factor, it comes off naturally. The choreography displayed in the video has also increased the expectations of their fans. They are keen to see what the group will bring out in their upcoming performances.
