Mumbai: Pop singer Katy Perry has made her relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau official on Instagram. The singer shared snippets of their cosy vacation to Japan. The pictures and videos showed them having a good time.
The 41-year-old singer vacationed with Trudeau in Tokyo, Japan. In one of the pictures, the 53-year-old was posing cheek-to-cheek with the singer. Another video from the carousel post showcased the couple having a meal together and looking into each other's eyes candidly. Another video captured them checking out an interactive creative piece at an art exhibit. The post was shared with the caption, "Tokyo times on tour and more."
The singer was in Japan for her ongoing Lifetime Tour. It looked like the politician was in Japan to support the pop artist. Katy and Justin were also spotted walking hand in hand in Japan's Asakusa, a popular tourist spot in Tokyo. During their time in the country, the new couple in town also went on a double date with Japan’s former prime minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko Kishida.
Katy first sparked dating rumours with Justin when the duo were seen taking a stroll and grabbing a bite in Montreal. Later, the politician was seen cheering Katy as she performed at the Lifetimes tour stop in Montreal’s Bell Centre.
Later, a picture of Kate and Justin getting intimate on a yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, went viral. The picture confirmed their relationship. At her concert in London, Katy was asked by a fan if he would marry her. She responded, "I wish you'd asked me 48 hours ago.”
Since then, the couple has been spotted together.
Katy was previously engaged to Orlando Bloom. The couple, who have a daughter together, split and announced their decision to focus on co-parenting.
