Mumbai: A rare pic of Priyanka Chopra from her school years in the US surfaced online. The picture posted by her schoolmate garnered the attention of many of her school friends, including an old boyfriend.
Priyanka, who was born in Bareilly, did her schooling in Indiana, US, for a few years. An old schoolmate of the actress shared an image of the actress from her freshman year of high school, when she was just 14 years old. The image shared on Reddit featured Priyanka, dressed in an overshirt and black tank top, in her classroom, smiling at the camera.
“Did y’all remember Priyanka Chopra started freshman year with us?” asked the Redditor. Many of the actress's old mates commented on the image. An old boyfriend also commented on the image. He wrote, "We dated until she moved to Boston. She lived in Presidential Estates. Those were the days. That’s actually my necklace in the picture.” A second individual stated, "I do remember her. Man, I feel old!” A third person commented, "Yes, I believe she is still a Pacers fan.”
Priyanka, in an old interview, spoke of her love for basketball in school. “I went to high school in Indiana. I was at North Central High School in Indianapolis. So, I mean, I have to love the Pacers, right?” said the actress.
Priyanka spent a few years in the US before moving to India. She was just 17 when she started modelling. Soon after, she became the 1st runner-up at Miss India. Later, she won the Miss World title. Subsequently, she entered the acting industry. Priyanka went on to star in several Bollywood movies and even won the National Award. She then expanded her career to Hollywood.
The actress will next be seen in SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Varanasi, along with Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
