Salman Khan hits back at Sikandar director A. R. Murugadoss; takes a dig at his new film

Mumbai: Salman Khan took a dig at Sikandar director A. R. Murugadoss on Bigg Boss 19 after he talked about how difficult it was to work with the Bollywood actor.

Salman, on the Weekend Ka Vaar episode of the reality show, was asked by special guest, comedian Ravi Gupta, if he regretted doing any particular film. It was then that Salman decided to talk about the movie Sikandar. He stated, "Nayi mein aisi koi nahi hai. Log kehte hain Sikandar, lekin main nahi maanta (No, I don't think there's anyone like that. People say it's Sikandar, but I don't believe it)."

He then added, "Uska plot bohot accha tha. Lekin kya hai naa, ki main set pe raat ko 9 baje pohonchta tha. Toh usme gadbad ho gayi. Meri pasliyaan tooti thi. Jo humaare director sahab hain, unhone yeh kaha. Lekin unki picture abhi ek release hui hai, jisme actor 6 baje pohonchta tha (The plot was really good. But the thing is, I used to arrive on set at 9 at night. So that caused some problems. I had fractured ribs. Our director said that. But his recent film that just got released had an actor who used to arrive at 6 o'clock)."

Salman did not hold back and went to say, "Toh pehele toh yeh picture thi Murugadoss aur Sajid Nadiadwala ki. Uske baad Sajid pehele kalti, uske baad Murugadoss waapis se hatt gaya, wahan se seedha South picture. Madharaasi karke ek picture unhone direct ki hai. Jo ki release hui. Bohot badi film hai aur utni hi badi… Sikandar se badi. Lekin blockbuster, blockbuster (So initially, this film was with Murugadoss and Sajid Nadiadwala. Then first Sajid backed out, and after that, Murugadoss also stepped away. From there, he went straight to a South film. He directed a movie called Madharaasi, which got released. It's a big film, even bigger than Sikandar. But a blockbuster, a real blockbuster)."

For the unversed, the Sikandar director had claimed that Salman arrived at 8 pm on sets, forcing the crew to shot day scenes at night.
