Smriti Mandhana to wed Palash Muchhal; here's everything you must know about the couple

Mumbai: Cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music director Palash Muchhal are the new couple in town. Putting speculations to rest, Palash recently confirmed their union. The music director told reporters that the cricketer would soon be the daughter-in-law of Indore, thereby hinting at their wedding. 

The 30-year-old from Indore even quipped, "I've given you the headline." He also wished the Indian team and Mandhana good luck for their upcoming match. "My best wishes are with Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur and Smriti (Mandhana). We always want the Indian cricket team to win every match and bring glory to the country," said Palash at the time.

Rumours about their romance made headlines after they were often seen posting pictures of themselves together. However, the couple never came forward with a statment confirming their relationship. However, Palash's recent comments resolved doubts and clarified their relationship status. 

Palash made his debut in Bollywood as a music director in 2014 with Dishkiyaoon. Since then, he has composed music for various movies like Amit Sahni Ki and  Bhoothnath Returns.  Party Toh Banti Hai and Tu Hi Hai Aashiqui are two of his chart-topping songs. He earned a place in the Golden Book of World Records at the age of 18 for being Bollywood's youngest music composer. As per reports, he has a net worth of 20-41 crore. 

Smriti Mandhana is a stellar cricketer who has consistently proven her talent. She also serves as the vice-captain of the Indian women's cricket team. She is known for spearheading the Royal Challengers Bangalore to the WPL 2024 title and has twice been awarded the ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year award. She is also praised for being the youngest and fastest player to reach 5,000 ODI runs, 

According to reports, Mandhana is worth Rs 33 crore. She hails from Mumbai. She spent her formative years in Maharashtra's Sangli.
