Mumbai: Pop singer Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justine Trudeau silenced all speculations with their public appearance. The duo were seen hand-in-hand in Paris as they celebrated Katy's 41st birthday.
Reports by TMZ stated that the couple were spotted holding hands after they attended a cabaret show at the Crazy Horse Paris. They appeared happy as they walked past the paparazzi outside the venue. Sources stated that a fan wished the singer a happy birthday with a red rose as they exited the place.
A video shared online showed the singer in a red dress and the politician in a black suit. Rumours of the duo dating emerged after intimate pictures of the couple appeared online.
In the images that circulated, Justin was seen hugging the singer on her yacht off the California coast of Santa Barbara. Following the incident, a fan proposed to Katy while she was performing at London's O2 Arena. The singer turned down the proposal and cheekily stated, "I wish you’d asked me 48 hours ago.” She also stated, "London, England, you’re like this on a Monday night after a whole day at work and a whole day at school?" She then remarked, "No wonder I fall for Englishmen all the time… but not anymore."
Katy was previously engaged to Orlando. They started dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2019. The duo shares a daughter, Daisy Dove. In July 2025, the couple parted ways.
Sources stated that the couple is focusing on co-parenting. “Due to the abundance of recent interest and conversation surrounding Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, representatives have confirmed that Orlando and Katy have been shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on coparenting,” said a representative for the couple, according to Page Six. They added, "They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect."
