New Delhi: A class 12 student was raped and impregnated by a junior hockey coach in Haryana's Rewari area. Cops said that the minor registered a complaint at the Khol police station on Friday.
She alleged that the incident took place four months ago. She claimed that a junior, whom she had known for the last three years, raped her. He took her to the bathroom and forced himself into her.
Following this, she became pregnant and suffered a miscarriage on January 5. The victim's family admitted her to the hospital after her health deteriorated.
The Rewari police on Friday lodged an FIR under the Protection of Children from sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and under other sections of law.
