In Karnataka's Chamarajanagar district, the forested villages are plagued by animal menace, a problem that has now reached its peak. Wild animals are attacking the livestock that farmers take to the fields to graze. The increasing number of tiger attacks has particularly increased people's concern.
On top of that, there are viral videos of tiger sightings on social media platforms, which have intensified people's fear and triggered outrage against the Forest Department. Now, the latter, while searching for the tiger, has revealed shocking information.
The Forest Department has revealed that most of the videos shared by people have been created with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The department is waging a war against miscreants who are making and circulating videos of tigers using AI, and has issued a warning of legal action against them. It has been said that the sharing of false photos of a tiger is creating unnecessary fear among people and causing problems for the department.
Recently, the Forest Department conducted successful operations in Padaguru and Kallahalli villages in the district and captured four tigers, including one tigress. However, it has not mitigated the danger posed by the tigers in Chamarajanagar district. Recently, a tiger attacked two cows belonging to a person named Shivanna in the Manchahalli village. Forest officials from Bandipur have visited the scene.
It has instilled fear in the residents of Manchahalli, who are afraid to go to their lands. The situation is the same in many other villages in the forest. The fear has been intensified by AI videos claiming to be of the tiger, and the Forest Department is now cracking down on the miscreants.
