PM Modi meets world leaders, shares laugh with Italy’s Giorgia Meloni at G20 Summit | Watch

In the video that have gone viral, PM Modi can be seen shaking hands and exchanging greetings with the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Both leaders had last met on the sidelines of the G7 summit that was held in Canada earlier this year.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met a number of world leaders on the sidelines of the G20 Summit being held in Johannesburg in South Africa. The US, However, boycotted this years summit. The PM was seen engaging in talks with leaders after arriving at the venue. He was received by South African President Cyril Ramaphosa.

In the video that have gone viral, PM Modi can be seen shaking hands and exchanging greetings with the Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Both leaders had last met on the sidelines of the G7 summit that was held in Canada earlier this year.

"I am delighted that Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni is penning her autobiography, I Am Giorgia. Apart from Meloni, PM Modi was seen meeting other world leaders. He hugged Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and held a conversation with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

“Pleased to meet President Macron during the G20 Summit in Johannesburg. We had an enriching exchange on various issues. Relations between India and France remain a force for global good,” he wrote after meeting French President Macron.

PM Modi calls meetings with Australian, Canadian counterparts ‘excellent’

Calling his meetings with Australian PM Anthony Albanese and his Canada PM Mark Carney, he added, “Had an excellent meeting with Mr. Anthony Albanese, PM of Australia and Mr. Mark Carney, PM of Canada on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Johannesburg. We are delighted to announce an Australia-Canada-India Technology and Innovation (ACITI) Partnership today”.
