  • Shea butter
  • Cocoa butter

3. Wax (For Structure)

  • Beeswax
  • Candelilla wax (vegan alternative)

4. Natural Tint (Optional)

  • Beetroot powder
  • Hibiscus powder
  • Rose petal powder

5. Hydrating Boosters

  • Honey
  • Aloe vera gel

6. K-Beauty Inspired Additions

  • Green tea extract (antioxidant-rich)
  • Rice bran oil (brightening)
  • Ginseng extract (revitalizing)

7. Essential Oils (For Fragrance)

  • Lavender essential oil
  • Peppermint essential oil
  • Rose essential oil

Steps to prepare at home:

  • Take 1 tbsp of shea butter, coconut oil and beeswax in a heat-safe bowl.
  • Use the double-boiling method to melt the ingredients and mix them well.
  • Once melted, add 1/2 teaspoon of honey and aloe vera gel to lock in moisture.
  • For rosy flavour and fragrance, add 1/ teaspoon beetroot powder or hibiscus powder.
  • Add a few drops of green tea extract and rice bran oil for antioxidant properties and a youthful glow.
  • For a calming scent, add 2-3 drops of essential oils.
  • Carefully pour the mixture in lip balm tubes and let it cool at room temperature.
