Day 01: Manali to Lama Dugh

The trekking trail begins from Dungri Mata Mandir or Hadimba Temple, which has one water source for filling your bottles. It is a steep climb on which you have to walk till you reach Lama Dugh.

The challenges in this trek is usually easy to moderate level but again you must carry enough water as there is only one source. It’s the downward journey to Manali from Lama Dugh. If you wish, you can spend a couple of days in Manali to explore the town.
Things to carry
Few essential things like sun cap, woolen cap, waterproof jacket, windproof jacket, and down jacket, enough undergarments and clothes, trekking gears, and medicines are crucial. Besides, moisturiser, sunscreen lotion etc are needed. Do not forget poncho or rain jacket, flask of hot water.
