New Delhi: Hyundai India Couture Week is ongoing in New Delhi, with various renowned fashion designers from the industry showcasing the best of their talents and their work on the runway to steal the spotlight and surrender to the art of craftsmanship. On Day 7 of India Couture Week 2025, Fashion designer Aisha Rao made her debut at the couture week with Sara Ali Khan walking the ramp as the showstopper.
The designer showcased her most charming and magnificent collection - Wild at Heart in collaboration with Kohler. Aisha's latest collection draws inspiration from the raw, unmatched beauty of nature and its parts that create a scenic ambience. Emphasising the metallic tones, intricate prints, and silhouettes that speak for themselves, the line transforms the wilderness into both a visually appealing and emotionally connecting expression with each piece showcased on the ramp. With whimsical touches and meticulous detailing, each piece evokes a dreamlike essence—seamlessly blending memory with imagination.
Sara Ali Khan made a striking appearance after the success of her recent movie, Metro In Dino, and walked the runway gracefully with a blend of youthful charm, natural elegance, and relatable presence. The walk was not just a simple display of fashion, but her personality was talking with the audience and making a statement with the outfit. Styled by her favourite Anaisha Shroff, Sara killed it on stage with her charming smile, minimal makeup that uplifted the outfit's overall look and making it talk on the ramp. For the jewellery, Shree Jewellers from Hyderabad collaborated with Aisha for Sara's stunning handpiece in silver, making her look like a doll.
The ensemble she wore echoed the themes of bold individuality, emotional depth, and confident expression, making her a seamless fit for the designer’s vision.
As the designer’s muse, Sara didn’t just wear the collection; she became a part of its story, adding layers of meaning to every thread and silhouette on display. She left her hair open with soft curls falling on her shoulder and a bright smile to make all things align and go in the right direction.
The Aisha Rao 'Wild at Heart' collection is an ode to the natural and untamed beauty of nature. It blends the metallic tone with whimsical elements, making it come to life with minimal banana leaves, lotus flowers, palm trees, and intricate floral details with 3D stones hanging in and over the outfits, telling a story through each piece. Romantic silhouettes meet rich textures and bold tones like rose gold, berry, and champagne, offering dreamy florals, structured blazers, and striking tailoring—a collection made for those who embrace reinvention and self-expression.
