New Delhi: Harry Kane has cooled speculation about a possible return to the Premier League as he recently admitted he’s "fully all in” at Bayern Munich and open to extending his stay with the German champions.

The England captain joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023 for £86.4 million and still has nearly two years left on his current contract. But with rumours swirling about a potential comeback to England, Kane made it clear that his focus remains firmly on life in Munich.

Since his move, the 32-year-old has been in stunning form, scoring 103 goals in 106 appearances and even helped Bayern lift the Bundesliga title last season marking the first major trophy of his career. Kane waited for this breakthrough for years and after achieving the same he said he has only made him hungrier for more success.

"Fully all in” at Bayern

When asked about the possibility of returning to the Premier League, Kane admitted his stance has changed since leaving Spurs.

"If you’d asked me when I first left for Bayern, I’d have said for sure I’d come back,” Kane said. "Now that I’ve been here a couple of years, that’s probably gone down a little bit. I wouldn’t say I’d never go back, but right now, I’m fully all in with Bayern.”

Kane also confirmed he’s open to holding talks about a contract extension, though he stressed there’s no urgency. "I’ve still got this season and another one left. It’s not like I’m in my final year or anything. I’m calm. I love the manager, I love the project, and my family is happy here. If those conversations come up, I’ll be open to having them.”

Focus on trophies, not records

A return to Tottenham or the Premier League has long been tied to Kane’s pursuit of Alan Shearer’s all-time scoring record. He needs 48 more goals to surpass Shearer’s 260 but for now that milestone has taken a back seat.

Kane insists his mindset shifted after finally lifting a trophy. "Winning the Bundesliga gave me even more motivation,” he said. "It would’ve been easy to think, ‘Okay, I’ve done what I wanted,’ but it’s made me want more. I’m training harder, eating cleaner, and trying to get every bit out of myself.”

No rush, no regrets

As per reports in Germany they have suggested Kane could leave next summer if he triggers a release clause but the striker has downplayed any such plan. "I’m not rushing anything. I’m extremely happy here, and I want to keep building. In football, you never know what’s around the corner but for now, it’s all about Bayern.”

For a player once defined by his Premier League goals, Kane seems content writing his next chapter in Bavaria, one built on trophies rather than records.
