AWL Business stock surges: Nuvama gives BUY rating, gives share target price

New Delhi: AWL Agri Business's shares witnessed a surge as high as 6 percent on Thursday, 17th July 2025. The shares closed at Rs 279.15 per equity share. The volume of shares being exchanged also rose significantly. The surge is attributed to the recent news that the company reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue earnings in the April-June quarter. The rise came at a time when the market was facing selling pressure. However, the stock is still trading at 31 percent lower than its 52-week high.
AWL Agri Business Share Target Price
Brokerage firm Nuvama is bullish on the stock and has given a target price. The firm has maintained its 'Buy' rating on AWL Agri Business (AWL). The firm has set a target price of Rs 397 for the company, which is about 51 percent higher than the current price.
AWL Agri Business Q1 Results
For Q1 FY26, the company's earnings have increased by 21% year-on-year growth, taking the revenue to Rs 17,059 crore, which was mainly due to better prices from edible oil. This has marked the company’s best-ever quarterly revenue performance.
However, the company's EBITDA, i.e., operating profit, decreased by 41 percent. This was due to increased prices of raw materials. Despite the growth in revenue, net profit went down 24% to Rs 236 crore, as compared to Rs 313 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last year. The company got a profit of Rs 150 crore from commodity derivatives, which reduced the impact of the loss to some extent.

The company's shares closed at Rs 279.15 per equity share on the BSE on July 17, 2025. In the last one month, the stock have a return of more than 5 percent. However, the shares have given a negative return of more than 15 percent annually. The 52-week high of the share is Rs 403.95, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 231.55. The price-to-earnings ratio of the company is 29.68. The market cap of the company stands at Rs 34097 crore.
