WBSSC Recruitment 2025: Notification released for 8,477 non-teaching posts

Kolkata: The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has released a notice regarding the recruitment notification for the post of non-teaching staff. It has released the WBSSC Non-Teaching recruitment 2025 notification for the Group C and D categories. The notification was released for a total of 8477 vacancies, of which 2989 posts for Group C (Clerk) and 5488 posts for Group D (Peon, Laboratory Attendant, etc).

All the candidates who are aspiring for the West Bengal SSC recruitment 2025 must note that the detailed notification will be released while opening the registration window. The online application window for the post of WBSSC Group C and D posts will be available from September 16 to October 31, 2025. The last date to pay the application fee is October 31, 2025. Candidates will also be provided an option to edit the registration form on the official portal at . The WBSSC admit card date and exam date will be released in due course.

Step 3: Start the registration process with basic login details 

Step 4: Fill in the WBSSC application form with all details including academic and personal 

Step 5: Pay the application fee 

Step 6: Scan and upload all the mandatory documents 

Step 7: Submit the WBSSC registration form 

Step 8: Download and keep the hard copy of application form for future need 

Eligibility criteria

Candidates must have passed class 10 or above to register for the WBSSC recruitment. The minimum age limit is 18 years, and the maximum is 40 years as of October 31, 2025. 

The selection of candidates for the WBSSC posts will be based on the written examination, followed by skill test and document verification. The shortlisted candidates will be placed at various departments with a monthly salary ranging between Rs 26,605 and Rs 29,905.
