Repeated bomb threats in Mumbai
Earlier in December, multiple courts and banks in the city received bomb threat emails. Security was increased on December 18, and all judicial premises in the city were thoroughly checked. At least five courts, including the Bombay High Court, received the threat. However, nothing suspicious was found at any of those premises.
The same month saw Hyderabad's Rajeev Gandhi International Airport receiving a bomb threat. It targeted a flight set to land in the city on December 23. After the flight landed safely, the airline staff and CISF personnel carried out a thorough checking of the aircraft, passengers, and others. After the thorough search, officials declared that it was a hoax email threat.
