Guwahati: The long wait for Assam board exam dates 2026 is over. The Assam Class 10 Higher School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Class 12 Higher Secondary (HS) exam date sheet was released. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has confirmed that the HSLC (Matriculation) exams will commence on February 10, 2026. The Assam HS final exams will be held from February 11, 2026.
The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) will be conducting the Class 12 exams. The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) will conduct HSLC exams. According to the schedule released by the exam authority, the Assam 10th exams will be held between February 10 and 27, 2026. The Assam Class 12 exams will be conducted from February 11 to March 16, 2026. The written exams will be held in two shifts: 9 am to 12 noon (morning shift) and 1:30 pm and 4:30 pm (afternoon shift).
