New Delhi: Tovino Thomas is stepping into a new avatar in Athiradi, and fans are already excited. The makers have unveiled his colourful character poster, introducing him as Sreekuttan Vellayani, a vibrant performer with a mic in hand and a cool, campus vibe.
Set against a festive college backdrop and packed with action, humour and music, the film unites Tovino with Basil Joseph and Vineeth Sreenivasan in one big-screen entertainer. Athiradi is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on May 14, 2026.
Tovino turns singer Sreekuttan
In the new poster, Tovino appears lightly bearded, holding a microphone, hinting that Sreekuttan Vellayani is a lively stage performer in the film. The look suggests a fun, high-energy character who will let the star explore a different side of himself in a commercial entertainer setup.
