As per the recent updates, a social media post claimed that the gangsters Himanshu Bhau and Neeraj Faridpuria had done the firing at Elvish Yadav's house. According to the social media post, which featured two gun graphics with BHAU GANG SINCE 2020 written on it, wrote in its caption read, "Greetings to all. Today, a shooting took place at ELVISH YADAV's house. It was carried out by NEERAJ FARIDPUR and BHAU RITOLIYA. Today, we have made our presence known. He has destroyed a lot of homes by promoting illegal betting apps. It is a warning to all such insects on social media, like Elvish Yadav. Whoever promotes these apps, be aware, a call or a bullet could come at any time. Stay alert [sic],"
It also linked the attack with Elvish involvement and promotion of illegal betting apps. However, there's no confirmation from any official regarding it. This gang is led by a Portugal-based gangster, Himanshu Bhau. This gang, in an earlier incident, has also claimed such things before, like an attack on Rahul Fazilpura, the singer, and the rapper's car.

Sandeep Kumar, PRO, Gurugram Police, said, "Three masked miscreants opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav at around 5.30 am. More than a dozen rounds were fired. Elvish Yadav was not at his residence at the time,”. The investigations into the case are underway.
