New Delhi: Bigg Boss 19 is ready to make its grand debut, and the official list of contestants has already sent fans into a frenzy. Hosted once again by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, the controversial reality show will premiere on August 24 and promises a season filled with drama, glamour and unexpected turns.

The confirmed lineup has been generating constant buzz, with several well-known names entering the Bigg Boss house. Actors Gaurav Khanna, best known for his role in Anupamaa, and Hunar Hali Gandhi are among the finalised contestants, according to a report by The Indian Express.

Bigg Boss 19 contestants

Choreographer Awez Darbar and influencer Nagma Mirajkar are on the list, along with entertainment journalist Nayandeep Rakshit. Reality show faces are also being brought back, with Splitsvilla and Roadies contestant Siwet Tomar, and Bigg Boss Marathi contestant Arbaaz Patel stepping in. Meanwhile, Khank Wadhwani, known from Splitsvilla, rounds off the first set of names revealed.

Speculation, however, has not stopped there. Reports suggest that actors Dheeraj Dhoopar, Gurucharan Singh and Apoorva Mukhija may also enter the house. Choreographer Dhanashree Verma and creator Kirak Khaala have been spotted in Mumbai recently, sparking further curiosity. Singer Sreerama Chandra, who was earlier confirmed, is reportedly in final discussions and may still be dropped.

The excitement doesn’t end with the lineup. Sources revealed that Pooja Gor, Hansika Motwani, comedian Ali Asgar and even Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Sailesh Lodha were approached by the makers. Although not all deals have been sealed, the approach list has added more heat to the pre-premiere buzz.

Bigg Boss 19 premiere date

This year’s Bigg Boss 19 will be digital-first, with episodes running online before their television telecast. The season is reportedly set to run for five months, making it one of the longest yet. In a fresh twist, contestants will be divided into two teams, and the house itself will be managed by the participants. Fans will also play an active role, influencing the drama week by week.

As Salman Khan teased in the promo, "every action will have its consequence.” With such a fiery lineup and a revamped format, Bigg Boss 19 is being hailed as one of the boldest seasons yet.
