New Delhi: The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 was filled with tension, arguments, and dramatic confrontations. On September 9, viewers witnessed a fiery clash between Amaal Mallik, Zeishan Quadri, and Baseer Ali, alongside a heated exchange involving Tanya Mittal and Kunickaa Sadanand.
By the end of the day, four contestants found themselves nominated, adding more pressure to the already charged atmosphere inside the house. Scroll down to read the highlights of last night’s episode!
The episode opened with housemates revisiting Kunickaa Sadanand’s remarks about Tanya Mittal’s mother, which many described as deeply offensive. Tanya, visibly hurt, revealed that Kunickaa had told her she hadn’t struggled enough in life. The conversation sparked concern, with Pranit More advising Gaurav Khanna not to bring up the matter again in front of Tanya, fearing it could trigger her further. Gaurav disagreed, while Farrhana Bhatt commented that such accusations reflected badly on Kunickaa.
Soon after, Bigg Boss called Natalia Janoszek and Mridul Tiwari for the nomination task, while other contestants were encouraged to distract them. Awez Darbar privately told Tanya that Kunickaa was targeting her weak points. During the task, Zeishan Quadri and Neelam Giri competed, but Tanya accused Zeishan of contributing to her negative image. Farrhana, meanwhile, confronted Neelam over her performance.
In a surprising move, Amaal Mallik announced his decision to self-nominate, explaining that he wanted Kunickaa, his partner in the task, to face consequences for her personal comments about Tanya. Natalia Janoszek advised him against the risky strategy, but Amaal remained firm. Bigg Boss, however, reminded him that self-nomination wasn’t permitted, leading Amaal to continue the task.
During the nomination round, Amaal and Kunickaa participated while Tanya openly criticised Kunickaa’s remarks. Neelam Giri supported Tanya, agreeing that Kunickaa was wrong. Gaurav Khanna also questioned Kunickaa, calling her comments unfair and judgmental.
Tensions escalated when Amaal noticed that Zeishan and Baseer hadn’t distracted Kunickaa during the task. Furious, he accused them of failing to support Tanya in her time of need. Zeishan defended himself, saying he had already confronted Kunickaa earlier and didn’t feel the need to repeat it. Baseer insisted he had pushed Zeishan to act, but Amaal wasn’t convinced.
The argument soon spiralled, with Amaal raising his voice at Baseer and Zeishan. He insisted that this was the moment to take a stand against Kunickaa’s unacceptable behaviour. His anger shocked several contestants, with Baseer warning that he wouldn’t tolerate such aggression again. Amaal also advised Neelam not to remain close to Kunickaa, saying she should avoid supporting someone who had crossed a personal line.
Baseer later told Kunickaa that Amaal was turning housemates against her, even suggesting that Gaurav was influencing him. Amaal, however, refused to back down, insisting that silence in the face of wrong behaviour was as good as supporting it.
Bigg Boss then addressed the mistakes made during the task. Baseer was reprimanded for failing to follow the rules when Kunickaa placed cotton earbuds in. It was announced that Natalia Janoszek, Mridul Tiwari, Awez Darbar, and Nagma Mirajkar had been nominated for the week, after they failed to calculate the time correctly.
Later in the night, Amaal apologised to Baseer, Zeishan, and Nehal for his outburst. Nehal commented that his anger had given others, like Gaurav and Abhishek Bajaj, the chance to voice their opinions.
Amidst the drama, Tanya thanked Amaal for standing by her. She told him, “You’re the only one who took a stand for me and did the right thing.” Amaal admitted he felt hurt by the house’s reactions, but Tanya reassured him, urging him to rest peacefully.
The episode closed with Kunickaa defending her actions, claiming she commented on Tanya’s mother only because Tanya frequently mentioned her. Tanya complained about it again to Amaal, while other housemates whispered about Tanya’s influence inside the house.
