New Delhi: The highly-awaited movie, War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, is set to release in theatres on August 14, 2025. The movie, directed by Ayan Mukerji under the banner of Yash Raj Films, will be having a surprising cameo along with a post-credit scene and there has been a lot of chatter regarding the same.
In the latest development, it has been revealed that neither Shah Rukh Khan nor Salman Khan will appear in cameo roles but a new villain will be introduced, which would take the YRF spy universe forward. New Villain to make cameo
If reports are to be believed, actor Bobby Deol will be making a special cameo in the film, War 2. As per an insider, the actor will be established as the main villain in the universe. However, the three superstars, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan will appear in a mega project of YRF. On the other hand, end credit of the film will be a sneak peek into Alia Bhatt’s Alpha.
Bollywood Hungama quoted a source saying, "War 2 won’t feature either of Tiger or Pathaan, however, their names will be used at some key junctures of the film. The end credit sequence of War 2 will act as a build up for the next chapter of YRF Spy Universe – Alpha. Aditya Chopra is staying true to his vision of continuing the story forward, rather than opting for gimmicks by bringing all 3 superstars in the same film. He is reserving the union of all 3 superstars for a mega project, which is in the development stage.”
The insider added, "With War 2, Aditya Chopra will be establishing Bobby Deol to the Universe. It’s an epic introduction to Bobby Deol’s character, who is one of the main villains in the timeline going forward. Aditya Chopra is known to go against the tide, and instead of establishing his two female leads of Alpha – Alia Bhatt and Sharvari – he is going ahead by unleashing the negative force of the film, Bobby Deol.”
