Box Office collection: Tere Ishk Mein roars, Gustaakh Ishq stumbles on Day 3

New Delhi: Two new Bollywood releases are battling it out at the box office this weekend. Gustaakh Ishq, starring Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh, opened modestly, while big-budget Tere Ishk Mein with Dhanush and Kriti Sanon grabbed massive attention.

Gustaakh Ishq earned an estimated Rs 0.95 Cr in India net in its first two days. Day 1 on Friday brought in Rs 0.5 crore, followed by Day 2 on Saturday at Rs 0.45 crores, marking a 10 per cent drop. Day 3 Sunday figures stand at around Rs 0.04 crore India net as live collection updates, with the total 3-day India net at Rs 0.99 crore.

The Sacnilk Team notes, "Gustaakh Ishq performed well on its first 2 days at the box office," but emphasises that data is approximate from various sources.

This film is directed by Vibhu Puri and produced by Stage5 Productions. It stars Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sharib Hashmi in key roles. Sacnilk lists it as Vijay Varma's top Hindi net collection movie at Rs 0.95 Cr so far.

Tere Ishk Mein raked in Rs 33 Cr India net across all languages in the first two days. It scored Rs 16 Cr on Day 1 Friday (Hindi: Rs 15.25 Cr; Tamil: Rs 0.75 Cr), then Rs 17 Cr on Day 2 Saturday (Hindi: Rs 16.25 Cr; Tamil: Rs 0.75 Cr), up 6.25 per cent. Day 3 Sunday is at - Rs 6.82 crore India net, with 3-day totals at Rs 39.82 crore India net.

Sacnilk Team states, "Tere Ishk Mein performed well on its first 2 days at the box office." 

Directed by Anand L Rai and produced by T-Series and Colour Yellow Productions, the movie features Dhanush and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. For Dhanush, it ranks second in Hindi net at Rs 31.5 crore, behind Raanjhanaa’s Rs 60.22 crore. Kriti Sanon’s film placed below her hits like Housefull 4 at Rs 210.3 crore.
