New Delhi: Leaving fans go all wild, singer Justin Bieber announced that he will be releasing his much-awaited ‘Swag II’ album at midnight tonight. The album is the follow up to ‘Swag’, which was released in July this year. The new album follows the same surprise announcement and quick-drop model, just like its predecessor. His multiple Instagram posts have now gone crazily viral on social media.
The photos features new electronic billboards with pink background with the caption “Swag II” that have been put up in different cities. In the Instagram post captions, he wrote, “SWAG II midnight tonight” and “Midnight tonight.”
Though not much information was shared about the upcoming album ‘Swag II’, rumours were rife of a second album since the time the first album released. The album will most probably feature at some of the same collaborators including, Gunna, Sexyy Red, Druski, Dijon, Lil B, Cash Cobain, Eddie Benjamin and Marvin Winans on the closure of ‘Forgiveness’, which was a rendition of ‘Lord, I Lift Your Name on High’.
Justin Bieber also handled production on ‘Swag’ alongside Carter Lang, Dylan Wiggins, Daniel Caesar, mk.gee, Daniel Chetrit, and Knox Fortune, among others.
It is also safe to say that Bieber’s timing to release the album is perfect as it releases just before the Grammy eligibility window closes. So, Swag II might be a part of the next year’s nominations for the prestigious award. This also means that he has a good chance of winning the 2027 awards.
Album ‘Swag’ also represented a dramatic change of direction for the singer that reflects the challenges that he has faced in the recent years, including his erratic behaviour.
