New Delhi: Actor Ashish Warang, best known for his roles in Mardaani and Drishyam, passed away on Friday (September 5). He was an Indian actor who had worked predominantly in Bollywood in supporting roles. His early recognition came from films, including Rani Mukerji-starrer Mardaani (2014), where he played the role of More. He then played a small role in Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam (2015), where he essayed the role of a senior inspector.
Actor Ashish Warang passed away at a young age. However, the cause of the death and other details are still unknown. He became a familiar face in Bollywood with his small roles. He featured in Rohit Shetty’s big-ticket film, Sooryavanshi (2021) as Aashish Tambe and later appeared as Inspector Shinde in Ek Villain Returns (2022). He also earned praise with his role of a political leader in Mumbai Saga (2022).
He also ventured into digital space with Manoj Bajpayee-starrer espionage thriller, The Family Man (2019), where he essayed the role of MP Deshpande. He was also seen in the quirky series Eternally Confused and Eager for Love (2022), where he played the role of a cop. He also explored regional cinema, including Crime Factory (2021), where he played the role of Ganpat Rao, and the Marathi film Tandav (2019). He has also been parts of projects such as One Story Many Ends (2022) and Out of the Blue.
