New Delhi: Vijay Devarakonda’s much-awaited gangster drama, Kingdom, took the box office by storm even before its theatrical release. In a remarkable feat, over 100,000 tickets were snapped up within the first 24 hours of advance bookings going live, marking an explosive start for the film.

This staggering number placed Kingdom at the top of trending charts on major ticketing platforms. This has further reaffirmed VD’s mass appeal amongst his huge fan base and the audience’s growing anticipation.

Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom is off to a promising start at the box office, indicating a strong opening day collection on July 31. Just a day before its release, the film recorded 1.35 lakh ticket pre-sales, ranking sixth in 2025’s top Telugu pre-bookings on BookMyShow.

The buzz isn’t just limited to India. The film’s pre-sales overseas have been described as “massive,” prompting the producers to schedule grand premiere shows on July 31. The promotional momentum has only grown stronger, despite multiple shifts in its release date. Initially slated for a March 30, 2025, premiere, the film was pushed to May 30, then July 4, before being locked in for a final release on July 31. Interestingly, each postponement seems to have only fuelled greater excitement among fans.
