New Delhi: BTS’ youngest member, Jungkook, was praised by KPop Demon Hunters singer Andrew Choi after performing a cover of Soda Pop, one of the hit tracks from the animated musical. The moment has since gone viral and reignited conversations around the global popularity of the Netflix film and BTS's subtle but consistent support for it.

For the unversed, Demon Hunters is known for its quirky characters and electrifying soundtrack. The film has already achieved cult status in 2025 pop culture. It also sparked numerous dance challenges and fan art, and caught the attention of BTS members earlier this year. Jungkook, 27, is never one to miss a musical moment and casually crooned Soda Pop during a livestream.

Reacting to the clip during a fan Q&A, Andrew couldn’t hide his admiration. "The thing that I love about Jungkook is that he sings with such ease, which is a sign of a true vocalist. Jungkook's performance is 11 out of 10,” he said with a wide grin. What surprised him more was Jungkook’s attention to detail. "Jungkook pointed out a mistake in the movie's OST Soda Pop. I didn't even notice it. No one seemed to have noticed it until Jungkook took a listen to it. So thank you, Jungkook, for that.”

Adding to the fanfare, Andrew later shared his fantasy lineup for the film’s fictional idol group, the Saja Boys. Unsurprisingly, Jungkook was his first pick, citing his "superstar power and all-rounder base.” Joining him were NCT’s Mark for his rap prowess and Cha Eun Woo, widely believed to have inspired the character Jinu. Completing his dream team were vocal heavyweights like EXO’s Baekhyun and D.O., along with DAY6’s Young K.
