'Horrible show': Madhuri Dixit’s Toronto live gig leaves fans enraged

Mumbai: Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit's recent live show in Toronto left fans disappointed and enraged. They took to social media to register their complaints about the show. Many claimed it was advertised as a concert, but was just a "boring" talk show. They also stated that the actress arrived three hours late. 

The show titled “Dil se.. Madhuri“ at Toronto’s Great Canadian Casino Resort was held on November 2. The post promoting the show on Instagram was shared with the caption, "TORONTO, are you READY? The timeless diva of Bollywood, Madhuri Dixit is coming LIVE to set the stage on fire! Experience her magic, her moves & her unforgettable charm – ALL in one night.” The poster of the event stated, “Toronto turns Dhak Dhak."

Following the show, frustrated attendees took to social media and called the event a complete waste of money and time. They claimed that the whole experience was just terrible. "What an absolute s**t show of a night…and they get PAID for that?” said one. Another stated, "Worst show one can ever go to, least worried about the audience time. 3 hours late and then full of lame talks.”

A third individual commented, "I am glad I saw her, but left at 11:05 pm as I had work the next day. I honestly don't know if it was the organisers or her who decided for her to come at 10 pm. On my ticket, it said the start time was 730pm. It did not state any pre-shows. I expected it to be a chat, with some singing and dancing. It just started way too late and disrespected the audience's time.”

Another individual said, "This was the worst show ever. So unorganised. The advertisement didn't say she was just going to chat and dance for 2 seconds of each song. Very, very poorly organised by the promoters. So many people walked out. People yelling for a refund and boring. Doesn't matter that she is a beautiful actress and person; everyone who went to the show has to agree it was poorly organised.”
