New Delhi: Late actor Shefali Jariwala’s hubby Parag Tyagi shared a deeply emotional tribute on Wednesday night (July 9) in memory of his late wife. The moving post was uploaded on his official Instagram handle, weeks after the Kaanta Laga girl’s untimely demise. It certainly captured the actor’s continuing grief and enduring love.
He also added a short video with the hauntingly beautiful melody Mere Haath Mein from the film Fanaa. In it, Shefali was seen holding Parag’s hand, and in another frame, both their hands rested gently on the paw of their beloved pet dog, Simba. Accompanying the clip, Parag simply wrote, "Together Forever” with a heart emoji.

Following Shefali’s passing, several rumours had circulated regarding the health of their dog. To address these, Parag earlier released a video of Simba participating in the funeral rituals traditionally performed by a son. He wrote, "Simba is hail & hearty and doing all the rituals to be done by a son for his mom. This video is for all those wonderful people who were really concerned about our baby Simba because of some heartless people spreading false news about our baby Simba’s health just to garner few likes and views.”

Shefali Jariwala was a familiar face to millions since her breakout appearance in the early 2000s music video Kaanta Laga. She passed away on June 27 at the age of 42. According to reports, she was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by her husband, but she was declared dead on arrival. While it was widely suspected that the cause was cardiac arrest, no official statement has confirmed this. Her body was sent by the Mumbai Police for a post-mortem examination, and the cause of death was marked as "reserved" following the autopsy.
